The Arts Identify a Society

September 20, 2016
As Baryn Futa sees things, it’s not possible to overstate the importance of the arts on any society. Art is a necessary and defining element of any culture, which is why it should be preserved for future generations. The arts are like a time capsule; the art of the past puts us in touch with our ancestors and we owe it to our descendants to preserve as much of current art as possible for the future.

It is that view of the arts that makes art museums and art preservation extremely important, as far as Baryn Futa is concerned. Because fine art represents what a society is, Baryn has a strong desire to preserve that for the ages. That is why he is interested in getting more people to appreciate the arts as much as he does.

That is why Baryn Futa now has memberships in a great number of prominent art museums with impressive collections, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim, and The Jewish Museum. It is also the main reason he has developed and maintained such a large and impressive art collection himself and why he routinely loans his art to museums. Art is what defines society and we owe it to our children and grandchildren to preserve art for them.
